Pre Construction Documentation
Pre Construction Documentation is the cataloging and preservation of existing conditions through photography. Sometimes it is used to document historic aspects of a building before it goes under a renovation. More often precon photos are used to document the existing conditions by a contractor or owner to create a record of existing damage or lack there of.
These photos are stored and referenced as proof of work, protection of liability, and references for Change orders
